Aliyev Farhad was born on 31 March 1977 in Azerbaijan (Salyan district). He graduated from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy in 1998 and The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2014.
In 2002-2021 he worked as a Leading Economist, Chief Advisor, Head of Sector, Deputy Head of Department in the State Statistical Committee. He is the Head of International Relations Department of the State Statistical Committee since 2021. He is a counselor of civil service. He is participant of II Karabakh War, awarded the medals “For the Liberation of Khojavand”, “For the Liberation of Fuzuli”, “Participant of the Patriotic War”, as well as the medal “For distinction in the public service” in accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 23 June, 2021.
Farhad Aliyev is married and has three children.
Activity Direction of the Department:
- As prescribed by the legislation, cooperation and conduction of contacts with the international agencies and organizations conducting relevant functions of the Committee adjusted with the other states;
- Participation in the development of the international contracts on cooperation in the field of statistics, provision of fulfillment of obligations committed by the Committee on international agreements joined by the Republic of Azerbaijan and coordination of the work done in this field;
- According to the legislation and in accordance with the norms of international law, within the framework of authorities conduction of cooperation in the field of statistics with the statistical services of other states and international statistical organizations;
- Performing activities in other directions entrusted by the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and management of the Committee.
