The Administration of the State Statistical Committee, the Administration of the State Statistical Committee of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and 65 local statistical bodies have once again been awarded a certificate confirming their compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 international standard in the field of “Production and dissemination of official statistical data”.

The certification was carried out based on the results of a recertification audit conducted to assess the compliance of the Committee’s activities in the field of the production and dissemination of official statistical data with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 international standard.

The audit was conducted in May 2026 by an audit team from “SGS Azerbaijan” LLC, the local representative of “SGS”, an internationally recognized company in the fields of testing, inspection and certification.

It should be noted that the State Statistical Committee applies rules and standards based on international best practices to ensure the quality of administrative and statistical processes, improve statistical processes, and expand the implementation of international standards.

Within this framework, the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System is ensured in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 international standard
