In January-July 2021 industrial products at 27.5 milliard manats or less for 1.1 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2020 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. This decrease was due to 1.6 percent decrease in product output in oil-gas sector, while product output in non-oil and gas sector of industry increased by 16,4 percent.

62,7 percent of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 31,3 percent in manufacturing sector, 5,1 percent in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0,9 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in mining sector decreased by 2.3 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 11.1 percent.

Production of pharmaceutical products in manufacturing sector increased 88.3%, computer, electronic and optical products by 2,6 times, leather and leather products and shoes by 61.2%, tobacco products by 62.5 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 68.7 percent, electrical equipment by 46,7 percent, machine and equipment by 4.8 percent, textile industry products by 56.4 percent, construction materials by 46.7 percent, paper and cardboard by 31.5 percent, rubber and plastic products by 20.1 percent, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 5.6 percent, production of clothes by 1.2 percent, metallurgical industrial products by 14.5 percent, food products by 6.8 percent, oil products by 8,5 percent, finished metal products by 10.0 percent, production of beverage by 1.8 percent, while chemical industrial products decreased by 3.7 percent, furniture 17.4  percent, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers production by 47,8 percent, polygraphic products by 50.6 percent, other vehicles by 71.3 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 2,6 percent while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 10,7 percent.
