In January 2021 industrial products at 3,6 milliard manats or less for 3,4 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2020 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. This decrease was due to 5,4 percent decrease in product output in oil-gas sector, while product output in non-oil and gas sector of industry increased by 12,8 percent.

64,9 percent of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 29,2 percent in manufacturing sector, 5,3 percent in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0,6 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in mining sector decreased by 4,0 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 7,9 percent.

Production of pharmaceutical products in manufacturing sector increased by 10,4 times, leather and leather products and shoes by 3,9 times, tobacco products by 2,9 times, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 2,8 times, rubber and plastic products by 97,0 percent, production of electrical equipment by 96,3 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 29,1 percent, machine and equipment by 23,5 percent, paper and cardboard by 21,4 percent, construction materials by 21,2 percent, chemical industrial products by 14,3 percent, textile industry products by 10,9 percent, metallurgical industrial products by 8,1 percent, beverage by 4,8 percent, food products by 3,0 percent, while production of automobile, trailers and semi-trailers decreased by 1,9 percent, production of clothes by 10,3 percent, oil products by 20,4 percent, finished metal products by 24,9 percent, production of furniture by 46,8 percent, computer, electronic and optical products by 53,4 percent, polygraphic products by 60,3 percent, other vehicles by 66,7 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 1,3 percent and in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities increased by 2,2 percent.
