In 2020, resources at 17028,1 million manats, or less for 8,3 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2019 were directed to fixed assets. The volume of investments in the oil-gas sector increased by 0,3 percent, while the volume of resources directed to the non oil-gas sector decreased by 12,3 percent. 11175,8 million manats or 65,6 percent of used resources were spent for production areas, 4485,0 million manats (26,4 percent) - service fields, 1367,3 million manats (8,0 percent) to the construction of dwelling houses. 11911,1 million manats or 69,9 percent of resources directed to fixed assets made internal resources. 10954,1 million manats or 64,3 percent of investment were directly spent for construction and installation works.

Allocations of enterprises and organizations in total value of investments directed to fixed assets made 50,4 percent, budget resources – 27,6 percent, bank credits – 6,2 percent, population own funds – 5,7 percent, other funds – 8,6 percent and extra-budgetary state funds – 1,5 percent.
