In January-October 2020 industrial products at 30,7 milliard manats or less for 4,5 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2019 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. This decrease was due to 6.1 percent decrease in product output in oil-gas sector, while product output in non-oil and gas sector of industry increased by 11.5 percent.

60,3 percent of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 33,6 percent in manufacturing sector, 5,2 percent in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0,9 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in mining sector decreased by 7,6 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 7,3 percent.

Production of pharmaceutical products in manufacturing sector increased by 8,8 times, metallurgical industrial products by 78,6 percent, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers by 64,1 percent, other vehicles by 50,3 percent, computer, electronic and optical products by 50,1 percent, machine and equipment by 41,4 percent, paper and cardboard by 34,2 percent, production of clothes by 33,7 percent, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 32,5 percent, construction materials by 26,4 percent, rubber and plastic products by 19,1 percent, tobacco products by 18,3 percent, chemical industrial products by 13,2 percent, polygraphic products by 9,9 percent, leather and leather products and shoes by 7,9 percent, textile industry products by 6,1 percent, finished metal products by 1,2 percent, while production of food products decreased by 1,3 percent, oil products by 2,2 percent, electrical equipment by 2,4 percent, beverage by 9,0 percent, production of furniture by 24,4 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 39,9 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 8,5 percent and in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it decreased by 3,5 percent.
