In January-September 2020 gross domestic product in amount of 52074,0 million manats or 3,9 percent less compared to the corresponding period of the previous year was produced in the country.

Value added produced in non-oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 2,4 percent, while in oil-gas sector it decreased by 6,4 percent.

34,7 percent of GDP was produced in industry, 11,4 percent trade; vehicle repair areas, 7,6 percent agriculture, forestry and fishing, 7,4 percent transport and warehouse, 6,3 percent construction, 2,0 percent information and communication, 1,3 percent tourists' accommodation and public catering, 19,1 percent other fields, 10,4 percent net taxes on product and import.

GDP per capita had been equal to 5222,5 manats.
