On January-May 2020, resources at 4907,6 million manats, or less for 2,8 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2019 were directed to fixed assets. The volume of investments in the oil-gas sector increased by 19,8 percent, while the volume of resources directed to the non oil-gas sector decreased by 16,7 percent. 3282,3 million manats or 66,9 percent of used resources were spent for production areas, 1115,5 million manats (22,7 percent) – service fields, 509,8 million manats (10,4 percent) to the construction of dwelling houses. 2891,6 million manats or 58,9 percent of resources directed to fixed assets made internal resources. 2965,5 million manats or 60,4 percent of resources directed to fixed assets were directly spent for construction and installation works.

Allocations of enterprises and organizations in total value of investments directed to fixed assets made 62,1 percent, budget resources – 21,4 percent, population own funds – 6,5 percent, bank credits – 5,4 percent, extra-budgetary state funds – 2,4 percent and other funds – 2,2 percent.

On January-May 2020, “New Clinic” medical institution in Baku, Baku DOST Center No. 3, modular hospital complex, 2 outpatient clinics in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 2 medical mask production facilities, protective coverall plant in Sumgayit city, hospitals of 200 beds in per Ganja and Shaki cities, branches of the “Azerkhalcha” OJSC in Aghstafa, Goranboy, Kurdamir, Gazakh and Tovuz districts, “Asan Hayat” complex in Kurdamir and Tovuz districts, Agrarian Industrial Complex in Aghstafa region, lime plant in Gazakh region, “Shamkirchay” Water Treatment Plant Complex in Shamkir region, Azerbaijan Ashug Art State Museum, History and Ethnography Museum, State Symbols Museum in Tovuz region and etc. substantial facilities were given into operation.
