In January-May 2020 industrial products at 15,5 milliard manats or more for 0.4 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2019 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. Product output in non oil-gas sector of industry increased by 14,0 percent.

62.0 percent of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 31,6 percent in manufacturing sector, 5,6 percent in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0,8 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in mining sector decreased by 3,1 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 15,5 percent.

Production of pharmaceutical products in manufacturing sector increased by 3,1 times, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers by 2,3 times, metallurgical industrial products by 2,2 times, computer electronic and optical products by 94,6 percent, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 57,2 percent, other vehicles by 37,6 percent, electrical equipment by 26,5 percent, tobacco products by 26,1 percent, chemical industrial products by 24,6 percent, paper and cardboard by 15,0 percent, rubber and plastic products by 13,6 percent, production of clothes by 13,0 percent, finished metal products by 7,4 percent, beverage by 2,9 percent, oil products by 2,0 percent, polygraphic products by 1,8 percent, food products by 1.8 percent, textile industry products by 1,6 percent, while production of furniture decreased by 1,5 percent, machine and equipment by 8,2 percent, construction materials by 9,3 percent, leather and leather products and shoes by 37,2 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 44,2 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 13,0 percent and in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 1,5 percent.
