In January-April 2020 the volume of gross domestic product in the country increased by 0.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 22400,5 million manats.  

Value added in the oil-gas sector of the economy increased by 1.5 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it decreased by 0.8 percent.

39.3 percent of GDP was produced in industry, 10.7 percent trade; vehicle repair areas, 7.4 percent transport and warehouse, 5.6 percent construction, 3.9 percent agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.0 percent information and communication, 1.9 percent tourists' accommodation and public catering, 18.9 percent other fields, 10.3 percent net taxes on product and import.

GDP per capita had been equal to 2249,7 manats.
