Changes in prices of consumer market

Consumer price index in December 2025 compared to December 2024 became 105,2%, including food products, beverages and tobacco products 106,4%, non-food products 102,5% and paid services provided to population 105,7%. In December 2025, the consumer price index was 100,8% compared to the previous month and in January-December – 105,6% compared to corresponding period of the previous year.

In December 2025, consumer price index for food products, beverages and tobacco products became 101,4% in comparison with the previous month and in January-December – 106,8% in comparison with corresponding period of the previous year.

In December of the current year compared to the previous month, more increase was observed in prices of several food products such as manna and buckwheat, beef, fish and fish products, milk, sour cream, sour milk, cheese, curds, eggs, apple, pear, quince, pomegranate, walnut, hazelnut, greens, cucumber, tomato, pumpkin, sweet pepper, potato, chocolate products, ketchup, mayonnaise, vodka, while the decrease was observed in the prices of lemon, orange, tangerine, banana, kiwi, white cabbage, table beet, carrot, garlic. There have been no significant changes in the prices of other food products.

In December 2025, consumer price index for non-food products made 100,2% compared to the previous month, and in January-December – 102,5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In December, in comparison with the previous month, more increase was observed in prices of non-food products such as clothes, domestic appliances, jewellery, while decrease was in prices of wood, cement, dishwashing detergents and laundry soap. No significant changes were noticed in prices of other non-food products.

In December 2025, consumer price index for paid services provided to population was 100,3% compared to the previous month, and in January-December – 106,5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In December, compared to previous month, an increase was mainly observed in prices of paid services provided to population such as international passenger air transportation services and leisure tours. No significant changes were observed in prices of other paid services.
