Industrial output in 2025

In 2025, industrial products worth 63,1 billion manats, or 1,0 percent less compared to 2024, were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. The product output in the oil and gas sector decreased by 2,0 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 5,5 percent.

59,6 percent of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 33,9 percent in the manufacturing sector, 5,5 percent in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, and 1,0 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 4,8 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 0,7 percent.

In the manufacturing sector, the production of pharmaceutical products increased by 86,3 percent, wood processing and production of wood products by 57,0 percent, installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment by 31,1 percent, textile industry products by 24,5 percent, rubber and plastic products by 16,1 percent, tobacco products by 14,4, oil products by 13,7 percent, food products by 9,1 percent, chemical industrial products by 5,2 percent, computers, electronic and optical products by 2,8 percent, beverages by 0,5 percent, while the production of metallurgical industrial products decreased by 3,1 percent, construction materials by 4,3 percent, furniture production by 8,6 percent, garment production by 15,1 percent, leather and leather products, including footwear by 15,2 percent, production of machinery and equipment by 16,3 percent, fabricated metal products by 17,0 percent, electrical equipment by 19,5 percent, polygraphy products by 19,5 percent, paper and cardboard by 21,1 percent, motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers by 40,3 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 0,3 percent, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 2,5 percent.
