Changes in prices of consumer market
Consumer price index in October 2025 compared to October 2024 became 105,9%, including food products, beverages and tobacco products 108,2%, non-food products 102,5% and paid services provided to population 105,6%.
In October 2025, the consumer price index was 100,5% compared to the previous month and in January-October – 105,7% compared to corresponding period of the previous year.
In October 2025, consumer price index for food products, beverages and tobacco products became 100,8% in comparison with the previous month and in January-October – 106,9% in comparison with corresponding period of the previous year.
In October of the current year compared to the previous month, more increase was observed in prices of several food products such as buckwheat, beef and mutton, canned beef, fish and fish products, eggs, buttermilk, curds, cheese, butter, banana, pear, hazelnut, tomato, sweet pepper, eggplant, table beet, carrot, potato, chocolate products, black and green tea, while the decrease was observed in the prices of lemon, orange, tangerine, apple, quince, pomegranate, dates, grape, kiwi, walnut, chestnut, greens, pumpkin, garlic, onions. There have been no significant changes in the prices of other food products.
In October 2025, consumer price index for non-food products made 100,3% compared to the previous month, and in January-October – 102,6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In October, in comparison with the previous month, more increase was observed in prices of non-food products such clothes, personal hygiene products, jewellery, while decrease was in prices of detergents and cleaning products. No significant changes were noticed in prices of other non-food products.
In October 2025, consumer price index for paid services provided to population was 100,4% compared to the previous month, and in January-October – 106,6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In October, compared to previous month, an increase was mainly observed in prices of paid services provided to population such as renting appartments, passenger transportation services by underground stations, taxi, city and suburban bus transport, catering services provided by restaurants and cafes, while decrease was in prices of international passenger air transportation services. No significant changes were observed in prices of other paid services.
