Industrial output in January-October 2025

In January–October 2025, industrial products worth 52,6 billion manats, or 1,2 percent less compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. The product output in the oil and gas sector decreased by 2,2 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 4,9 percent.

60,8 percent of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 32,8 percent in the manufacturing sector, 5,4 percent in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, and 1,0 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 4,6 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 1,7 percent.

In the manufacturing sector, the production of pharmaceutical products increased by 2,0 times, by 98,4 percent in computers, electronic and optical products, wood processing and production of wood products by 57,1 percent, textile industry products by 26,1 percent, rubber and plastic products by 12,6 percent, tobacco products by 11,2 percent, food products by 9,5 percent, chemical industrial products by 8,4 percent, and oil products by 0,9 percent. Meanwhile, production decreased by 1,2 percent machinery and equipment, 1,8 percent in beverages, 4,3 percent in construction materials, 7,4 percent in installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment, 9,2 percent in clothing, 10,0 percent in fabricated metal products, 10,9 percent in furniture, 11,6 percent in electrical equipment, 12,9 percent in metallurgical industrial products, 18,6 percent in leather and leather products and footwear, 19,9 percent in printing products, 22,5 percent in motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, and 27,1 percent in paper and cardboard.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 1,0 percent, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 5,4 percent.
