In January-September 2022 cargo transportation in Azerbaijan side of the Europe-Caucasus-Asia Transport Corridor was 37829,6 thousand ton and cargo turnover 9435,5 million ton-km, 24,4 percent and 31,5 percent more compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. 20376,1 thousand ton or 53,9 percent of cargo was transported by automobile transport, 12435,7 thousand ton or 32,9 percent by railway transport, 5017,8 thousand ton or 13,2 percent by sea transport.

27,4 percent or 10352,5 thousand ton of cargo transportation by corridor was transit cargo.
