Industrial output in January-June 2021

In January-June 2021 industrial products at 23,1 milliard manats or less for 0,3 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2020 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. This decrease was due to 3,2 percent decrease in product output in oil-gas sector, while product output in non-oil and gas sector of industry increased by 16,6 percent.

62,6 percent of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 31,3 percent in manufacturing sector, 5,2 percent in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0,9 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in mining sector decreased by 3,7 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 8,8 percent.

Production of pharmaceutical products in manufacturing sector increased by 3,1 times, computer, electronic and optical products by 2,5 times, leather and leather products and shoes by 2,2 times, tobacco products by 80,8 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 78,2 percent, electrical equipment by 60,6 percent, machine and equipment by 48,3 percent, textile industry products by 48,1 percent, construction materials by 40,2 percent, paper and cardboard by 34,2 percent, rubber and plastic products by 29,7 percent, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 24,0 percent, production of clothes by 10,7 percent, metallurgical industrial products by 9,4 percent, food products by 8,1 percent, oil products by 5,5 percent, finished metal products by 3,4 percent, while production of beverage decreased by 5,0 percent, chemical industrial products by 5,3 percent, furniture 24,6 percent, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers production by 47,1 percent, polygraphic products by 52,9 percent, other vehicles by 69,1 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 1,2 percent while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 11,2 percent.
