Retail trade turnover

In January-November 2020, 35046,3 million manats, including 18851,8 million manats food products, beverages and tobacco products, 16194,5 million manats non-food products were sold to the consumers in retail trade network. Compared to the corresponding period of 2019 the retail trade turnover in real terms decreased by 1,4 percent, including 6,0 percent in non-food products, while 3,1 percent increased in food products, beverages and tobacco products. Electronic trade turnover was more for 2,4 times compared to January-November of the previous year.

In January-November 2020, 48,7 percent of resources the consumers spent to purchasing of food products for final consumption purposes, 5,1 percent - beverages and tobacco products, 16,4 percent - textile products, clothes and shoes, 5,6 percent - electrical appliances and furniture, 5,3 percent - gasoline and diesel fuel, 1,8 percent - pharmaceutical products and medical equipments, 0,8 percent - computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 16,3 percent - other non-food products.

In the reporting period 23,2 percent of consumer goods in real terms have been sold by trade enterprises, 53,4 percent - private entrepreneurs, 23,4 percent were sold in markets and fairs. Retail trade turnover in real terms compared to the corresponding period of 2019 increased by 7,7 percent - for enterprises, 4,3 percent - for private entrepreneurs, decreased by 18,5 percent - for markets and fairs.

In January-November 2020, retail trade turnover in average per capita made 319,3 manats or more for 3,3 manats in nominal terms than the indicator of corresponding period of 2019. In the trade network at average monthly per country citizen there have been purchased food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 171,8 manats and non-food products in amount of 147,5 manats.
