Industrial output in January-November 2020

In January-November 2020 industrial products at 33,7 milliard manats or less for 4,7 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2019 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. This decrease was due to 6.4 percent decrease in product output in oil-gas sector, while product output in non-oil and gas sector of industry increased by 11.4 percent.

60,7 percent of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 33,2 percent in manufacturing sector, 5,2 percent in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0,9 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in mining sector decreased by 7,8 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 6,4 percent.

Production of pharmaceutical products in manufacturing sector increased by 9,4 times, metallurgical industrial products by 86,6 percent, computer, electronic and optical products by 51,2 percent, other vehicles by 47,5 percent, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 42,1 percent, production of clothes by 41,5 percent, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers by 41,2 percent, paper and cardboard by 37,7 percent, tobacco products by 27,1 percent, construction materials by 24,6 percent, rubber and plastic products by 21,7 percent, leather and leather products and shoes by 20,0 percent, chemical industrial products by 19,5 percent, electrical equipment by 17,2 percent, textile industry products by 9,6 percent, machine and equipment by 8,0 percent, finished metal products by 4,2 percent, while production of food products decreased by 1,0 percent, oil products by 1,8 percent, polygraphic products by 3,2 percent, beverage by 10,3 percent, production of furniture by 25,2 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 44,0 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 8,0 percent and in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it decreased by 6,9 percent.
