Industrial output in January-April 2020

In January-April 2020 industrial products at 13,0 milliard manats or more for 3.0 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2019 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. Product output in non oil-gas sector of industry increased by 16,8 percent.

63.1 percent of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 30,5 percent in manufacturing sector, 5,6 percent in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0,8 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in mining sector decreased by 0,2 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 17,1 percent.

Production of automobile, trailers and semi-trailers in manufacturing sector increased by 4,7 times, computer, electronic and optical products by 2,6 times, metallurgical industrial products by 2,3 times, pharmaceutical products by 60,7 percent, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 48,6 percent, other vehicles by 35,1 percent, chemical industrial products by 24,9 percent, electrical equipment by 20,6 percent, rubber and plastic products by 20,0 percent, paper and cardboard by 19,3 percent, tobacco products by 18,9 percent, beverage by 8,3 percent, food products by 8.1 percent, oil products by 5,1 percent, finished metal products by 4,4 percent, production of clothes by 3,6 percent, textile industry products by 1,2 percent, while production of furniture decreased by 0,9 percent, polygraphic products by 2,3 percent, construction materials by 4,5 percent, machine and equipment by 23,8 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 36,3 percent, leather and leather products and shoes by 54,1 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 14,0 percent and in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 2,5 percent.
