Retail trade turnover

In January 2019 value of goods sold in retail trade network has exceeded the level of the same month of previous year in compared prices for 2.7% and equaled to 2.9 milliard manats. 1.5 milliard manats of trade turnover made food products, beverages and tobacco products, 1.4 milliard manats – non-food products and value of sold products has exceeded indicators of January 2018 correspondingly for 2.4% and 3.1% in real terms.

In January 2019, 44.3% of resources the consumers spent to purchasing of food products for final consumption purposes, 5.9% - beverages and tobacco products, 17.6% - textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.1% - electrical appliances and furniture, 5.7% - motor fuel, 1.3% - pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.7% - computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 18.4% - other non-food products.

19.0% of consumer goods in real terms have been sold by trade enterprises, 50.4% - private entrepreneurs, 30.6% were sold in markets and fairs in reporting month. Retail trade turnover in real terms compared to January 2018 increased by 31.4% - for enterprises, decreased by 0.5% - private entrepreneurs, by 5.0% - for markets and fairs.

In January 2019 retail trade turnover in average per capita made 293.8 manats or more for 8.1 manats in nominal terms than indicator of the corresponding month of 2018. In the trade network at average monthly per country citizen there have been purchased food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 147.6 manats and non-food products in amount of 146.2 manats.
