Retail trade turnover

In 2018 value of goods sold in retail trade network has exceeded the level of the previous year in compared prices for 3.0% and equaled to 37.1 milliard manats. 18.6 milliard manats of trade turnover made food products, beverages and tobacco products, 18.5 milliard manats – non-food products and value of sold products has exceeded indicators of 2017 correspondingly for 2.5% and 3.4% in real terms.

In 2018, 45.8% of resources the consumers spent to purchasing of food products for final consumption purposes, 4.5% - beverages and tobacco products, 17.8% - textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.1% - electrical appliances and furniture, 5.9% - motor fuel, 1.3% - pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.7% - computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 17.9% - other non-food products.

16.8% of consumer goods in real terms have been sold by trade enterprises, 52.9% - private entrepreneurs, 30.3% were sold in markets and fairs in reporting year. Retail trade turnover in real terms compared to 2017 increased by 33.0% - for enterprises, by 0.1% - private entrepreneurs, decreased by 4.2% - for markets and fairs.

In 2018 retail trade turnover in average per capita made 314.8 manats or more for 12.9 manats in nominal terms than indicator of 2017. In the trade network at average monthly per country citizen there have been purchased food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 158.2 manats and non-food products in amount of 156.6 manats.
