Retail trade turnover

On January-November 2018 value of goods sold in retail trade network has exceeded the level of the same period of the previous year in compared prices for 2.7% and equaled to 32.4 milliard manats. 16272.7 million manats of trade turnover made food products, beverages and tobacco products, 16164.1 million manats – non-food products and value of sold products has exceeded indicators of January-November 2017 correspondingly for 2.2% and 3.3% in real terms.

During the reporting period 45.9% of resources the consumers spent to purchasing of food products for final consumption purposes, 4.3% - beverages and tobacco products, 18.5% - textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.2% - electrical appliances and furniture, 5.8% -motor fuel, 1.3% - pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.7% - computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 17.3% - other non-food products.

16.9% of consumer goods in real terms have been sold by trade enterprises, 51.3% - private entrepreneurs, 31.8% were sold in markets and fairs in January-November 2018. Retail trade turnover in real terms compared to the same period of 2017 increased by 37.3% - for enterprises, decreased by 1.0% - private entrepreneurs, 4.2% - markets and fairs.

Retail trade turnover in average per capita during the reporting period made 300.4 manats or more for 12.1 manats in nominal terms than indicator of the corresponding period of 2017. In the trade network at average monthly per country citizen there have been purchased food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 150.7 manats and non-food products in amount of 149.7 manats.
