Retail trade turnover

On January-October 2018 value of goods sold in retail trade network has exceeded the level of the same period of the previous year in compared prices for 2.6% and equalled to 29.5 milliard manats. 14.8 milliard manats of trade turnover made food products, beverages and tobacco products, 14.7 milliard manats – non-food products and value of sold products has exceeded indicators of January-October 2017 correspondingly for 2.1% and 3.2% in real terms.

During the reporting period 45.8% of resources the consumers spent to purchasing of food products for final consumption purposes, 4.3% - beverages and tobacco products, 18.4% - textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.2% - electrical appliances and furniture, 5.8% -motor fuel, 1.4% - pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.7% - computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 17.4% - other non-food products.

17.0% of consumer goods have been sold by trade enterprises, 50.9% - private entrepreneurs, 32.1% were sold in markets and fairs in January-October 2018. Retail trade turnover in real terms compared to the same period of 2017 increased by 37.1% - for enterprises, decreased by 1.1%- private entrepreneurs, 4.4% - markets and fairs.

Retail trade turnover in average per capita during the reporting period made 300.4 manats or more for 12.2 manats in nominal terms than indicator of January-October 2017. In the trade network at average per country citizen there have been purchased food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 150.6 manats and non-food products in amount of 149.8 manats.
