Retail trade turnover

On January-July 2018 value of goods sold in retail trade network has exceeded the level of the same period of the previous year in compared prices for 2.6% and equalled to 20.1 milliard manats. 10.0 milliard manats of trade turnover made food products, beverages and tobacco products, 10.1 milliard manats – non-food products and value of sold products has exceeded indicators of January-July 2017 correspondingly for 3.2% and 1.9% in real terms.

During the reporting period 45.6% of resources the consumers spent to purchasing of food products for final consumption purposes, 4.3% - beverages and tobacco products, 18.0% - textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.1% - electrical appliances and furniture, 5.6% -motor fuel, 1.3% - pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.7% - computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 18.4% - other non-food products.

16.3% of consumer goods have been sold by trade enterprises, 50.6% - private entrepreneurs, 33.1% were sold in markets and fairs in January-July 2018. Retail trade turnover in nominal terms compared to the same period of 2017 increased by 34.4% - for enterprises, decreased by 1.5%- private entrepreneurs, 2.6% - markets and fairs.

Retail trade turnover in average per capita during the reporting period made 292.7 manats or more for 13.5 manats in nominal terms than indicator of January-July 2017. In the trade network at average per country citizen there have been purchased food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 146.1 manats and non-food products in amount of 146.6 manats.
