95th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev has been celebrated in the State Statistical Committee.

On May 7, the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan hosted an event dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

First, flowers were laid in front of national leader Heydar Aliyev's bust in the lobby of the Committee. The memory of the great son of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was commemorated with a minute of silence.

The Chairman of the State Statistical Committee Tahir Budagov spoke about the invaluable historical services rendered to Azerbaijan nation by the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, the founder of our national solidarity and ideology of Azerbaijanism, the liberator of our people and state, the great leader Heydar Aliyev. He said that nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev has been working tirelessly for the people, the state and the society at all times, and has always been supremely honored by the glorious services of the world-famous statesman. The phenomenon has worked diligently for the integrity of the state and people of Azerbaijan, has made significant efforts to strengthen our independence, to develop our statehood and to further improve the welfare of the people. One of the unprecedented services of national leader Heydar Aliyev, who has devoted his entire life to the public, is the foundation of a successful state building process.

Tahir Budagov emphasized that great leader Heydar Aliyev's wisdom is not only to deal with the challenges and problems of his time, but also to be ahead of them and to lead a successful leader in the future. Our nation unanimously supported the political course determined by the genius leader and entrusted its continuation to the President Ilham Aliyev who passed through the Heydar Aliyev school, dedicated his entire activity to highness of the strategic interest of the Azerbaijani state and its bright future.

It was noted that the 95th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev is celebrated with great enthusiasm in every corner of Azerbaijan, as well as in foreign countries where Azerbaijanis live. These events are the manifestation of the value, the infinite love and the love of the people, who are praised for the unprecedented services of Heydar Aliyev, the historical figure.

Rasim Safarov, Head of the Sustainable Development Statistics Department of the State Statistical Committee, Sayavush Ahmadov, Head of the System Maintenance and Technical Services Sector of the IT Department, and Aygun Mammadova, Leading Adviser of the Agricultural Statistics Department noted in their speeches that the wise and far-sighted strategy of national leader Heydar Aliyev has brought Azerbaijan to great prospects, our people, who are closely integrated with their eternal ideas, will always mark new victories.

Afterwards, the winners of the traditional sport tournament on mini football among the Committee's youths, dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev, were awarded.

The event ended with a demonstration of a film dedicated to the life and activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
