Retail trade turnover

In January 2018 value of goods sold in retail trade network has exceeded the level of the same month of the previous year in compared prices for 2.4% and equalled to 2794.6 million manats. 1411.4 million manats of trade turnover made food products, beverages and tobacco products, 1383.2 million manats – non-food products and value of sold products has exceeded indicators of January 2017 correspondingly for 1.7% and 3.0% in real terms.

During the reporting period 44.8% of resources the consumers spent to purchasing of food products for final consumption purposes, 5.7% - beverages and tobacco products, 17.4% - textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.1% - electrical appliances and furniture, 5.8% -motor fuel, 1.3% - pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.7% - computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 18.2% - other non-food products.

14.0% of consumer goods have been sold by trade enterprises, 52.9% - private entrepreneurs, 33.1% were sold in markets and fairs in January 2018. Retail trade turnover in nominal terms compared to the same month of 2017 increased by 19.8% - for enterprises, 0.1%- private entrepreneurs and decreased by 0.2% - for markets and fairs.

Retail trade turnover in average per capita during the reporting period made 285.7 manats or more for 20.0 manats in nominal terms than indicator of corresponding month of 2017. In the trade network at average per country citizen there have been purchased food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 144.3 manats and non-food products in amount of 141.4 manats.
